What is your favorite part about working in the roofing industry?
One of my favorite parts about working in the roofing industry is learning and growing with people in the work environment. I love that I’m able to protect and educate homeowners on a daily basis. I enjoy that I have the ability to change the homeowner’s perspective on what their roof really is and what it does for their home.
What is the most challenging part about your role OR the most challenging part about working in the roofing industry?
The roofing industry is ever changing and moves so quickly, so adapting to the changes can be challenging from time to time.
How long have you been a member of the Roofing Academy?
6 months
What has your experience with The Roofing Academy been like?
My experience with The Roofing Academy has been incredible. What I’ve experienced thus far has allowed me to integrate structure and connect all the pieces together.
What advice would you give a newcomer to the roofing industry?
One piece of advice I would give to a newcomer to the roofing industry is to be prepared to do things the right way from the start. Unfortunately, the roofing industry doesn’t have the best reputation. It’s our job to rise above the negative image and set the new standard for quality in the roofing industry. Newcomers need to hold themselves accountable and show integrity in everything they do and say.
What was your first job ever?
I’ve been part of the roofing industry from the earliest age I could start. At just 15 years old, I was working as the ground cleanup crew for a local roofing company. With hard work and dedication, I started from the bottom and worked my way up to owning and operating my own successful roofing and remodeling company.
What does your ideal day off look like?
As most business owners would understand, days off are hard to come by; however, I also understand the importance of balance. My days off are spent relaxing and building memories with my wife and twin daughters.

A steak cooked medium
Favorite sports team?
Texas Longhorns college football
One fun fact about yourself!
